I am working in traverse tomorrow, so I will swing by the dealer and see what else they have. If they have a laramie I will drive that... I assume they still have the "high output" option right?

they did put a mower engine in there, though...i think it's called the 3.7.

I do think it makes a world of difference if you have the manual. A 4 speed auto and a, relatively speaking, weak engine isn't a good combo. The manual tranny will make up for a lot of the engine's weaknesses....just wind 'er up!

I didn't read this cuz it's a bunch of words, but I think the reason it doesn't feel faster, is cuz they didn't up the torque that much...
Torque is what pulls you, and we are already at like 300 or somehting, and the new one isn't too much higher...
