No, just the one V-8 now...since the new V-8 is already mower powerful than the old HO.

What did they put a lawn Mower Engine in the 08s??... does the truck also work to cut the grass?? LOL

eh, typo. that's what I get for trying to do work and type a post at the same time.

they did put a mower engine in there, though...i think it's called the 3.7.

yeah, they had a black laramie but it didnt drive any different... it was a great truck though. heated leather... :-D

Its because teh 3.7 in an auto is garbage... ask my best friend. he got the auto and hates it now. he drives my truck and thinks I got a hemi. lol

I do think it makes a world of difference if you have the manual. A 4 speed auto and a, relatively speaking, weak engine isn't a good combo. The manual tranny will make up for a lot of the engine's weaknesses....just wind 'er up!

I didn't read this cuz it's a bunch of words, but I think the reason it doesn't feel faster, is cuz they didn't up the torque that much...

Torque is what pulls you, and we are already at like 300 or somehting, and the new one isn't too much higher...

Ya, just checked Dodge's website, the torque numbers are 329, which is higher, but someone said the truck weighs more, as well, so it's probably offsetting itself...
