idk about yours, but there is a thread for this in the 2nd gen dak, or 1st gen D section where you can use a paper clip to jump the relays somehow, im not sure but check it out

something to do with the wiring harness where it cant handle the volts. you may need to rewire the system for this to work

its in the first gen durango, but i think it would work with the new trucks too, if not

try that, its for the newer vehicles, let me know how they work, or which ones work, and it is reversible

splice into one of the high beam circuits, put a relay in the middle and run a wire from your battery to the relay, then the output of the relay to your fog lights...boom done.

Have you actually done this? My grandfather tried it when he owned my dak and ended up undoing it because it was causing MIL's to light up on the dash... (he said it did work though, just got annoyed with the warning light)

hey night runner, i am running this on mine. the o.e.m. foglight relay uses a negative ground trigger to turn the foglights on .i used another relay toswitch ground to the o.e.m. relaywhen thehighbeams are on. tap on to the highbeam wire, run this to the switch terminal on the#2relay. then wire the battery terminal on#2 relayto ground. then send the output terminal on #2 relayto the switch terminal on the o.e.m. relay.instead of relaying + (battery) it switches ground. i ran this on my 2002 dakota also. hope this helps !!!!!
