Default stock fog light lenses

I believe I saw this somewhere that there where problems with the stock fog light lenses self-destructing. I was cleaning the graythang today and found the left fog light lens with fractures in the plastic from within. You couldn’t feel it from the outside at all but you can see spider chips or cracks in the lens. I’m stopping by the dealer tomorrow so they can look at it and get it replaced.

I had a problem with both of them craking, got them replaced, and the drivers one is cracked again, the dealer I went to told me I am justr hitting things but like you said its a crack from the inside so I think they overheat and crack

I had the same problem, but I'm just looking into some decent aftermarket lights. Any ideas?

Soon as I stop being cheap I'm getting a set of these and painting the chrome bezel black (or maybe blue, haven't decided 100%). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...:IT&ih=020

They look a bit cheezy on there but chopperzen has them on his Ram and they look killer, should fit the factory location too, I measured it on mine and the hole is a little over 4" diameter.

They are pricey... I am looking for a way to just replace the lenses.. I want to go HID, and I dont think aftermarkets will work with an HID kit...
I don't see why they wouldn't, might be a different bulb size but projectors are typically better for HID anyways. The plug and play kits are just a bulb and ballast/ignitor, long as you get the right size bulb they should fit in any light.
