I've been waiting on an 08 quad with 4.7, sport trim and tow package but haven't seen one in the ATL area yeat. But more interesting is that of all the 08 models I HAVEseen on local lotsI don't think I've seen a single one move yet. The same trucks that came in on original shipments are still on the lots. Haven't seen any on the road either.

 

there are 3 at one of the local dealers and 1 jsut sold...have a buddy that is the finance manager at a dealer in tulsa, they have sold 4 this month

 

yeah they really are not to big of sellers...they are probably not gonna be, but thats just my guess, granted the engine is good but the gas mileage still sucks compared to other trucks with the same relative horsepower!!

 

I'm acting seeing a good amount driving around out here, not like the rental ones either. I dont see many on the lots; I saw a black one a couple weeks ago and it was gone.

 

WELL we had a Black Sport Edition and it was pretty hot...had black powder coated rims and it was decent looking...I just wanted to steal the rims off the bitch...lol

 

I test drove one about a week ago,the dealrship up here has 3 all with the TRX package. It seems like nice truck. I did notice a difference with the new V8, but not enough to make me trade in my dak. I would wait until the new dakotas have been out for a while so they get all the bugs worked out of them

 

I checked out an 08 not too long ago. Didn't test drive one but I really liked the interior but the truck still sits too low. They had only 7 on the lot. Only had one that was a V8 and only 2 of them were 4x4.

 

I havent seen a single one yet, hell I hardly see any of our 3rd gens around here...

 

i honestly have not seen one on the road and my job is mostly driving doing service work, i dont know if they are popular in new jersey or not probably not out long enough my guess

 

I have seen two 08son the road. The dealer has twelve at any givin time and not one has a V8. Gen IIIs in central FL are all over here.
