It says all good. oil was Amsoil XL 5w-30 with Wix filter recommended 7500 mile oil. I had 8167 miles on it when tested and changed. 32467 miles total on truck. recomendation field on test says- "no corrective action required. Oil is suitable for continued use. Resample at next regular interval." intervals are 3k miles. guess it turned out pretty good. this time I am going to wait on my results before changing and see how far it can go lol.

 

So, any word on the truck w/ the dealership?

 

I picked it up saterday. no luck with the noise. I noticed last night after driving without the radio for a few miles you can here it inside the cab when the motor is under load.

 

I'd say keep bringing it back...

And sweet deal w/ the oil...

I've been doing the same thing. I'll be getting my mobil 1 oil retested at 15,000 miles. Only if everyone knew how far you can REAllY go on oil (synthetic or not).

 

Keep us posted on your oil test. I'm interested how it holds up because I run Mobil 1 thru a K&N oil filter for 15,000. Got 54k on truck now.
