Default Dealer Sucks!

Diambrosio Dodge Downingtown Pa. Took my 05 Dakota in for a front strut that was leaking. Dealer says yep it's bad I must order part, part ordered. I complain that they are only replacing one strut and not the set. Response Chrysler will only pay for one! OK rather that fight I shut up.Part came in, 2nd trip to dealer had that strut that was ordered replaced. 1 week latter I decided I want the other strut replaced.Third tripto dealer complaining of clunking noise out of opposite strut, yep it's bad we will order strut. Part came in a few days later. Fourth trip to dealer replaced the 2nd strut! Two days latter clunking noise from front end I guess something was not tightened, Fifth trip to dealer next week I will let you know what line of crap they give me this time. I complained to service manager and Chrysler neither one gave a crap, just passed the buck back and forth. You must speak to dealer, no you must speak to Chrysler. So I guess next time I will try another brand truck, and car no more Chrysler products for me!

my dealer has been good to me. though this is my last month of warranty. Had a noise so i took it in thinking it wasa wheel bearing and it was the front differential and they were uber nice and good about replacing it.

Good thing you got it taken care of before the warrant expired!

The dealer I bought my truck from has been ok, I had a CV joint boot that was torn, the dealer ended up replacing the boot, CV joint and axle shaft all under warranty. There is another dodge dealer here in Anchorage, Lithia, that won't fix anything even if it is covered under warranty, plus they got in all kinds of trouble (big lawsuit)for illegally adding in extra fees to vehicles to make more money.

And they say they can't make any money, no wonder the way they treat people.

How many miles? I just had both front hubs replaced on my '06, at 26,000 miles (btw, Lucas Dodge in Lumberton NJ rocks!) I am getting a real bad feeling about the front ends on these trucks (05-07)...

mine has about 33K on it now. I've been doing a lot of driving between NY and Wisconsin over the past few months, and one time drove prolly 200 miles straight with 4-Lock on to get home, so it's been being abused in that sense.

Its always hard to find a good shop to deal with. And that goes for aftermarket or dealers, The best thing I do is tell the owner of the car or truck is, if you need information about your car or truck just stop by and we will talk. I do work for a dealer as a tech. Next time you go to the dealer, ask for one of the tech to talk too. Most tech will come out and talk to you. Also when you get to know the techs, the moreinformation you will get, like recalls and tsb's..I know there are a few techs on this web site.
