Welcome to the forums! A tonneau is def a great first accessory. I dont have the access cover, but I do a Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau on my 07', http://www.extang.com/docs/classicplatinum.html, and I can't complain about anything with it. I guess it all goes on your preference of style, functionality and durability. I am sure the other will voice there opinions also.

My grandfather has the low profile access cover on his Lincoln and he loves it. Hasn't let any water in so far and is very easy to open and close. The only thing against it is it mounts to the side of the bedrails so you lose some bed-width at the top, check out the install pictures on their site if that sounds confusing and it will make sense

Had the Access roll-up cover for 3 years now and love it. Takes heavy snow loads with no problem.

As far as covers go I have used Truxedo covers for about 5 years with no complaints. I am not sure if I got a great deal or not, but I purchased a BedRug at the same time I purchased the Truxedo Low-Pro Tonneau the cost for both was about 650.00 with free shipping http://www.surplusequipment.com/

I have one of these. It came with the truck but I don't really like it. It's heavy to fold up and forget about folding it if you have any ice on it. Also, the locks always freeze on it. I just can't seem to get ride of it because it cost so much new.
Oh also the paint is black and flaking off leaving little white spots all over it.
