Out of the lease...
Well, with some negotiating and availablity of a 2007 Quad Cab SLT on the lot...loaded, my dealer got me out of my lease of my '06 ST and into a new truck for the same payment and $500.00 down. I still had 16 month left on a 3 year lease and the ST at 32,570 mi. I would have ben screwed at the end of the lease buying for way more than it was worth. So, I will posted pics of the new truck soon, once the crappy weather clears up today.
It wasn't planned. I haven't driven that much in a year and half in my life. And with my luck, it just so happened to occur when I had a truck under lease.
Ummmm, Eric, no ****! LOL! But it has been pouring here all day. I haven't had my new truck 24 hours and we have had almost an inch of rain. It is supposed to be very nice this weekend, so pics will be posted.

Did they use the Lease Pull Ahead???
Got me out of my '05 SLT with that.....they made 5 of the 11 remaining payments & lost some of the interest....only ended up being $1810 that I had rolled over into my mom's Charger lease
After having my truck for 27 months....I only had just under 15,000 miles on it when I turned it in last weekend....lol.
It sat parked in the driveway for a while after I got my Redline

No, they didn't. They inquired about the pull-ahead plan, but I didn't qualify. I had too many months left. They literally bought out the lease Chrysler Financial and then subtracted the book value from the buyout price and passed that small amount onto me (I think it was a $3k difference). It would've been a big deal, but the 2007 I got listed for $31,365 and I got it for $22,000. So, the additional $3K wasn't that big of a hit. This is my 4th vehicle from this dealership so it may have been a loyalty thing. I didn't incur a penalty either.
If it was a cold as last week, it woud've been snow. But it has been in the 40's here.
