i was at the dealer yesterday trading in my wifes pt cruiser for a jeep commander and i saw a 08 dak. IN my opinion they are not that great looking. the front looks like it is bloated compared to 3rd generation, kinda like a bubble. Anybody see one yet and does anybody own a Jeep Commander/ know anything about them. It has the 3.7l 6.

 

I was looking at the 08 daks at the philly auto show yesterday. I wasn't impressed with the front end, like my 06 better, but I think the 300 hp and nicer interior more than make up for it!

 

The 08 is still 3rd gen.

 

as for the commander, I really like them, but i would go for the 4.7, that is a heavy truck for a 3.7.

 

I wouldnt get a commander! There just a charokee with an uncomfortable 3rd row of seats. I like the charokees way better. I dont even think the commanders have a solid axel front... If you look on petersons 4x4 online.... They have a very good review of the commander...

 

I have to agree with ya. I dont like the new body styling either. Definently to rounded for me!

 

We have a Commander 3.7. It is my wife's. We love it! It is an awesome vehicle. The 3.7 has plenty of power for highway use. Ours is a 4 x 2. We got it loaded for about $26k.

 

I don't understand why someone would buy a 2wd jeep.

 

Are those the Jeeps that come in FWD?

Or, which one is that?

That's a waste and disgrace to the Jeep name.
