I get closer to 12 so don't feel bad. I am on E with about 220 miles in this tank LOL

Oh well, I'd rather enjoy the ride than save a couple bucks I guess
That's what I'm talkin' about, dude. Every 200-220 miles I'm at Sunoco. It get's old quick at almost 3 bucks a gallon. I run 87 octane though and it's still $50 to fill up. And I'm not ABOUT to pay $3.31 a gallon for 93 every time I fill up. 87 octane is 40 cents cheaper a gallon here, and I've found Sunoco to be some of the best gas we can get in NJ. It may seem strange, but I can tell the truck runs better on Sunoco than on the cheapie no-name gas.

Maybe once every 5-7 tanks I'll bite the bullet and fill it with Ultra though. I can feel a difference too with that extra octane. Vroom vroom. [sm=gears.gif]

Hehehe. v8, 6spd, 4x4.... I get about 17 - 18 in town, and about 20 - 22 on the highway...

And that's being neutral on the throttle... I HAVE gotten 7, in town, but that's cuz I was cruising around in 2nd gear, going 30, for about 15 minutes...
Thats about what I am averaging for mine with aV8, Multi Speed Overdrive Auto (5 Speed), 4x4 I thought that was pretty decent for a 4x4 V8. I would have to say I am average on the throttle, I have my moments though when alittle ricer wants toTRY and race

Really? You ping if you don't use 93? Is that normal? Or is it the fact you have some mods on your truck? I only have a KN filter and use 87 and have no ping. Oh, BTW, gas up here in Canada is $1.04 a litre!! You guys do the math!

93 and nothing else. and how do you people only get 200 miles to a tank. i average 380 -400 during the summer and i just filled up last night at sunoco cost 65.00. took 18 gallons and i had 340 on the mileage indicator. been kinda cold in ct lately so i have been letting truck warm up. cant complain 17/18 around town 20/22 on the highway 60-65 with the cruise control on. the more miles you put on the truck the better the gas mileage will be. i know have 51000 on truck and still running same brakes, tires and crappy frt suspension.

I don't get it. Even with a 2WD, how in the hell can someone get almost twice the mileage? I've only got an AiRaid intake and 3923 plugs (haven't got to install the new exhaust yet) and even though I've kinda' been babying it lately TRYING to get better mileage, I don't even see 14 around town.

Club Cab --2wd--HO

I was getting 18 avg during the summer 22 Hwy
but with this oxygenated crap during the winter
I'm down to 16.5 avg.

I usually run 93 octane, Hell it's only 20 cents more.
What's that, one less Big Mac per tankful?

It's the $3.00 that's the killer not the $.20!

I tried 91 it seemed ok but 89 the truck had no pickup!

i only run 93- the reason ive ran 89 and it would ping, i dont think 91 it would but to be on the safe side i run 93, as for mods i have done alot but not as much as i want to do but yeah i went to vermont this weekend its liek 4 hour drive from jersey truck took a beating going up and down all those mountains, didnt realize our trucks were so bad at that lol, seemed to strain, but anyway it was fun so didnt matter i think i got like 18mpg on the new york freeway so i was happy but still used alot of gas- god dam snow is crazy up there tho i have to say i dont know how people live up there in the winter-
