any body know of a leaf spring that would fit, i'd like to add a leaf.

you may have to find one that is wrecked and drop the rear take, the springs and bring it to a shop that will grind down a larger one to fit under the axle. i have seen this done numerous times on chevy and fords

Are our daksconsideredto bea 1/2 ton or a 1/4 ton? For the payload and towing capacity I would think it would be a 1/2 ton but the rear springs seem to soft for it.

2 1/2 inch wide leafs are what you get. any add a leaf with 2 1/2 inch wide leafs fit
