It's gotta be about as fast as a snail.

I saw a writeup a few days ago about the new Charger police interceptor with the Hemi engine. The 0-60 was somewhere in the high 6 second range, which amazed me that it was even that good. It was a full 2 seconds faster than a Crown Vic.

I would think that the 05-07 Daks with a 230HP 4.7 would be somewhere around the 8 second mark. Of course that could vary greatly depending if you're talking about a CC, QC, 2WD, 4WD, multi-speed auto, 6 speed manny, etc. I would think the low end for say a CC 4X2 with no mods and manual trans might be in the 7's. A QC 4X4 with an auto might be closer to 8 or 9 seconds 0-60.

With my 05 QC 4X4 and 6 speed I've audibly counted when taking off from a light and always came up around 7 seconds to 60MPH. I never did it with a stop watch though.

On the GTech, my 5100lb(withmy 225lbs and a few accessoriesin it) QD Cab 4x4 V-8 auto w/3.92 gears, runs low 8's. best was 8.07, typical is 8.25-8.3. Only mods: cold air set up, TB and exhaust.

My 3.7L / 6 speed 2WD could probably squeeze in under 10 seconds with a solid launch; that 4.2:1 1st gear is where it's at. I've never taken a stopwatch to it though.

How about faster than a speeding ticket? or fast enough to pass everything but a gas station?

I think 0-60 is somewhere between lighting a smoke and responding to a text message in my 4.7 2x4 I got stopped by a cop in a new plain painted sliver charger with a hemi in it the other day. I asked if I could take a picture of him behind my truck with his lights on, he was cool with it but forgot I took the camera out of the truck. I told him next time I will have to get a picture, he laughed like hell and didnt even give me a ticket (83 in a 55) so I was happy.
