Holy Crap! The same thing happened to me on thursday 3/6, except it was just the right side. I got under it and found just the slightest bit of movement in the lower ball joint, called a mechanic friend, and he said stop by monday. On friday, it rained like hell and the squeak disappeared and hasn't been back yet. My mech buddy said he was surprised I saw such slight movement in that ball joint, that currently it is not a problem, and doubted that was the cause of the squeak. Just turned 57K on truck. Beats the hell outta me. Try spraying all the rubber grommets with PB Blaster or some kind of spray lube. And check your front end components, other guys have had their ball joints replaced. Anotherquality Dodge component. Ball joints should not be going bad at such low mileage. I do 90% highway miles.

I took my grease needle and put grease in the boots covering the joints

I too also have the squeaks in the front, but it's worse in the rear. When ever I go over a bump and the rear of my truck goes over it, it has some squeaking but it also rattles like something is loose or busted. I visually inspected the rear nothing found wrong.

it's your stabilizer/sway bar links. my 06 has it in the front left, with only 17k miles.

there's a nationwide backorder on these links because they're going bad on a boatload of dakotas. lucky for me i'm still under warranty and the fix can be on Dodge's dime.
