i like my mopar remote start and it on my warranty even though i put it on myself
Sorry, wasn't trying to come across that I was saying anything bad about yours. Just trying to provide the OP with some options. If you pay to have the install done either way an aftermarket system comes out cheaper and you can get a 2way security with remote start, dealer will not cover it under warranty though. I'd imagine the mopar one is probably easier to self install, there's no way I was going to do the viper myself, did my own security system on my last car and I'm not willing to go through that again.

i wasnt trying to sound pissed i was just saying i like my mopar parts. just trying to support my dads employer. u know what i mean man. we all drive dodge so i have much love to everyone on this site just for that. the mopar system was easy to install even though i hate electricial wiring. with the advanced system i only had to splice into four wires and everything else was plug and play. i loved it. o alsolghtngblt02you can add the advanced system to your factory one. that how i had to buy my system. i ahd to install the regular system first and get it working than install the advanced system.

i have a shelby like 250r or 350r, its was like 150 and installed it myself. the range is great and install was easy as well. had it for about a year and a half and no problems yet.
