Ummm, oil and a filter?? [sm=happybounce.gif]

If you want to take advantage of the extended drain intervals (and have amsoil cover you) you need to use their filter...

Oil Filter:
EAO34
Engine, with filter..........5.0 quarts

Signature Series 0W-30 100% Synthetic Motor Oil
Normal Service(3) – Up to 35,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

100% Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil
Normal Service(3) – Up to 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

Extended Life 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil
Extended Life Synthetic Motor Oils are recommended for 7,500-mile/6-month oil change intervals

Thats basicly it. If you just use the 7,500 mile oil you could run the Wix filter. They are also good but not for extended use. Let me know if you need anything else.

And maybe that "cleanout" stuff to use before the switchover--add it to your "old" oil first and run it for a few minutes.....TurboTbird should know what I'm talking about..

Turbot-bird I think im gonna try and get it switched over sometime around 16th, I want to get the 25,000 mile stuff and a amsoil filter. I would do it earlier but i have a custom truck place installing power locks and keyless on my truck at the beginning of next month so it will have to be my next paycheck from then. Can I just order my oil through you? Also how do I do the engine flush?

i run the junk stuff of the shelf with the junk filter. change out my oil every 4500-5000 miles. the way oil is produced now, you dont need the extended life crap. waste of money and a gimmick. have 55000 miles on truck and it still runs strong and will keep running strong

yes, you can order though me. The engine flush most of them you pour it in the old oil, run it for about 15min then drain and change the filter, then install new oil.
