Well don't hold your breath on Bilstein, I just got off the phone with them and was told due to tooling costs it doesn't look like they will be making anything for us so it seems Monroe is the only game in town. Once you guys that ordered them get them installed you'll have to post some reviews for us

Please post results on these, I am very interested in those on 4X4's with leveling kit compressing the springs.
I called Rancho and asked about their "coming soon" in their catalog, and the rep said they have no ETA, He acted like he didn't even know about them. I am going to call again and hopefully get someone more willing to help.
Thanks,
LB

What exactly should these do for the ride ofour pickups, I am not very well versed in suspension systems so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. Also rick4dak how much did they cost you?

Cost for both fronts was $175. Installation would probably be at least that much but I'll install them myself. The front end will have to be aligned after installation.
Good shocks will control wheel bounce. It should feel like a smoother ride, less bounce when hitting dips and bumps. The Monroe Sensatrac shocks are supposed to react better to harder bumps.

So these will fit my 06 2WD 3.7L? How hard are these to install by yourself? Do these come with shocks?

Heck if I know man, all I know is poor man's mechanics (oil changes, fluid checks, tune ups) I don't know anything about suspension systems or anything besides the very basics of how an engine works. I just don't want to buy something and find out it is something I didn't want or that it wasn't what I thought it was going to be.
