I always use Mobile 1 oil filters and Mobile 1 extended performance Synthetic oil and I can't complain, but hey thats just me :-D.

I would definitely say stay away from FRAM filters... they're the bottom of the barrel.

I've found that the Mobile 1 oil and filters work very well, I haven't had any problems with them and I know other people who would recommend them as well.

I've always used Napa gold up till the most recent change, currently using the Amsoil filter with their 0W-30 oil.

I have used mostly Fram filters and I have never had an issue. I know they seem to get a bad rap on the reports but I have had engines go to 170,000 with no problems, I also use dino oils mostly quaker state. I did try royal purple but didn't seem to gain much compared to cost so I switched back to regular oil. So to sum it up I have used fram filters for 30 years and never seen a filter related issue. I have tried others ie..Wix,STP etc. They all seem the same to me. Just my humble opinion.
