Default real world gas mileage

i just got back from, manalapan new jersey, visiting bad *** rt (joe) hung out for a while. just wanted to let you know the gas mileage statis, travel 427 miles have just shy of a quarter tank left. drove 60/65 because of the gears, cruise control all the way and the a/c blowing. i think the truck did very well. considering my fullsize when we went to englishtown to race was 100.00 dollars in gas on the way up and same on the way home. also gas in jersey is about 40 cents cheaper then ct. so i am looking forward to the meet and great at the track sometime in 08

Wow, it looks like you might become the new MPG record holder! I just put 19 gallons in after 430 miles (the last 15 were run between 90 and 105...gotta have fun once in a while), so I got 22.6 MPG this time around. Good luck! See if you can get to 475 miles before the gas light comes on.

if i still had the 3.55 i would have been able to get the same mileage , but going 70/75 mph. by slowing down to 60 helped out. plus there was no stop and go traffic, only at the g.w. bridge.took another 4 hrs to get back, had to stop for some food. but i am at 442 miles from running errans now and the gas light came on.
