I've starting looking in to one for my 03 dakota. I don't have the overhead computer, and was comparing this and the overhead computer on Ebay.

I think I'm going with the ScanGauge II. More bang for the buck, and cooler even.

Alot of the math it does you can do, but it's the load rating, and real time MPG, along with throttle postion I think are the coolest.

I have been using the DashHawk from MSD

Been great so far, and the fact they are updating the software, or whatever you call it,all the time means more features for free.

Here is the link you requested. The main draw back is at this time it wil not read trans temp on the dodge, but when I spoke to them they are working on geting the dodge codes and it is only 169.95 with a 30 day trail.

I like the look of the dashhawk better. From the looks of it, it's the same case and one of the "Edge" displays.

To bad the dashhawk does now work on my 03.

I'll look to see if the 03 uses a "CAN Bus"

Right now I am using the old "software" or whatever you call it. I would update it, but myself and computers don't get along very well. Because of this, I am missing a few things that I could be monituring.

Oil pressure and temp, not right now with mine. I think it will once I get it updated.

Trans temp, also not now. Coolant, mph, rpm, yes to all.

I use those and also load, TPS, IAT (shows just how bad those "cool air" systems really are) fuel level, usage, exhaust temps, etc.

I love being able to data log with this also. It does so much that I have used maybe 10% of all functions so far.

Got my scangauge for my 03. I love it. I'm still trying to see about getting the transmission temp.

Not many X-gauges for the dodge.
