Default See Ya Later Resonator...

Hey I was just looking for opinions and answers. I am thinking about removing one of the resonators off the truck. I want to know if its a good sound and how loud it is. I am looking at changing out the muffler to Magnaflowand removing the resonator, but I dont want it to be annoying and too loud. I am probably gonna run without the res until I order the muffler if that helps too. I have kinda grow out of the obnoxious noise. I want to besomewhat noticeable growl when I step on it.So if the Res is gonna make it to noisy let me know.

i went with no resonators and a single 3 inch cat back. if you still want quite go single or if you like it loud go duals like joes truck. if you keep the resonater on near the cab it will be quite still in the cab, just remove the one at the tailpipe and you will be good. my single sounds like a semi rolling down the street

yeah well i took both of mine off and have a flowmaster 40 series muffler and exits before the passenger rear tire!! and honestly its not loud when driving down the street or down the high way...I really only hear it when i'm at a stop light and really step on it...otherwise if i'm at a stop light and the windows are down and the radio is off i can hear it idoling. but thats about it.

I have been thinking of doing something similar as well. Didn't someone on here pull there muffler and leave the resonators. I am not wanting loud, nore do I want to spend a tone on full custom exhaust. Just a nice rumble and I hate poppy sounding exhaust, what is best to pull off, the muffler, one f the resis or both.
