wow damn man that sux. sorry to hear that. especially after being on a high from going to carlisle. i know said your shop is going to replace everything oem and all, but what about the frame. you should ask them if they are going to measure it and check it for true, if it needs to go on the rack, etc. any shop can make a vehicle look good, but if it doesn't ride straight what's the point? not trying to scare ya. just want you to be aware. seen many a vehicle for sale with new paint that ride sideways.

Sorry bout your truck man that sucks. At least it wasn't your fault, things like these happen though and at least you and the other guy weren't hurt that's what really matters. Hopfully everying goes smooth, now I gotta tell you that here's your excuse to get your truck painted in bright and shiney Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat, I bet the Inferno Red would have made you stand out better than plain jane silver! Ha I couldn't resist. Well good luck with your truck, I am guessing anywhere from $1500 to $2500 in damage. Doesn't look like a hard enough impact to effect the frame so it shouldn't be any big deal and the value of your vehicle shouldn't diminish.

on a serious note, glad that nobody was hurt and that everything is being taken care of

Glad that all is going smooth with the insurance company. My wife got hit by another USAA member and its was horrible, like pulling teeth to get them to pay up for things. One thing is, seeing your truck and the other one that was wrecked, I am feeling pretty safe. Both took a pretty good hit and everyone walked away without too many scratches, especially the roll over. Don't know how fast they were going when they hit you, but at least the whole bed didn't buckle or penetrate into the rear of the cab. Keep us posted on the progress and take pics of the repair steps if you can.

Hey TEXDAK, USAA was horrible? I'm really surprised by that. They've never been anything but helpful with any problems I've had (no wrecks luckily). Good to know that they might be stingy with the dough if I get hit tho.

Wyatt, you've been playing that MOBSTER game on myspsace.com too much.

Very good point, I agree with DeWalt here, make sure the shop checks the frame. When we had mine repaired my dad checked around town and found a good shop that had a laser setup to check the frame, luckily there was no damage to mine. I don't think you'd bend the frame from the looks of the hit but it's always better to be safe than sorry.
