Texdak that sounds like it would look awesome.

Baracis have you considered removing the rear headrests? IMO it looks a lot cleaner and it's definitely nice not to have them in the way when you look in the mirror or turn around to look out the back.

Hmm...I hadn't thought of that actually. Don't mind em too much in the rearview, but when I get the back window tinted at 20% it'll look a lot better.

Finally found the pic, this is the other reason I don't like them. May not look as bad in the picture but the headrests cranked forward when the roof took a hit. If my friend in the back had been wearing his seatbelt he would probably have neck problems now, instead he rode out the rollover hanging onto to front seat for dear life and didn't get a single scratch. When the truck was being fixed the body shop told me they couldn't even order the headrests from the dealer, they were told Dodge stopped putting them on due to safety concerns. I've never called the dealer and asked about that but I didn't see any reason the shop would lie to me about it, he's a pretty straightforward guy.

Plus they are gay...hey wait a min...baracis...I figured it out, its not because you have a gay friend name Wyatt, its the damn headrests...get rid of them, unless you like being gay!

The clean look without the glue crap looks much much better! And definitely take the head rests out.

I have considered taking out the headrest as well, but everytime I think about it I talk myself out of it. 99% of the time two of my boys are in the back. Altair, it actually looks as though the headrest stopped the roofline from caving all the way down. I wonder how much farther down it would have gone without them?? I do hate how they look as much as everyone else, but I think maybe they do have purpose, even if its for kids in the back like my situation. As far as the badge, I think I agree with Altair, the dakota badge painted in black centered just above the tailgate handle would look sweet.
