thats crazy... how did they fit them in the doors? My alpine fit, but just barely let the window past. its a matter of MM's... imagine a very tiny amp on them. lol
Some trucks came with infinity speakers that did have an amp on the back of each speaker...
I can't imagine that's very cost effective, always figured they were just pulling my leg as I went ahead and did the install they told me would not work thanks to those amps and it's been working great for 5 years now. Crazy stuff...
