Default Bull Bar

Hey guys, I'm in the process of bidding on a bull bar on ebay (thanks for the link baracis) and was wondering if anyone on the forum had a bull bar on thier truck? Was the installation hard? It seems like a breeze but something dont' end up that way. Anyone have pictures?

Your welcome. But I've heard they are a REAL BITCH to put on if you have the tow hooks (not sure if you guys still would have those bolts there). I've heard PB Blaster and an Impact took hours on some.. I say get a craftsman on it with a cheater bar and don't be a *****. Plus if you break the craftsman you can get a new one for free! Let that PB Blaster soak for 5 or so minutes, might even wanna do that process a few times, then torque that bad boy off.

I think your truck may be better off without it....IMO. I mean if your going for that clean look then a bully bar may not exactly fit into your scheme. But I think it will look pretty kick *** on mine. And plus I'll probably use it more than once! I mean we push bales around all the time with the trucks, it will be nice to have some bumper protection when hunting season comes around, and now the old lady doesn't have to worry about bumping into things.....like parking rails...lol

Yea, I was thinking about one for hunting season. I could take it off and put it back on. Might come in handy in case I slide off a trail and smack a tree or something. Just don't know if I wanna go through that hassle or not. Plus, like you said, I'm going for a clean look. It wouldn't fit in.

Yea I think that would be a pretty big pain in the ***, especially taking it off after driving the trails and getting those tow hook nuts rusted on there. What do you all hunt down there? Any pictures?

I think if you painted it yellow then it would look pretty good, although the black would match the wheels...

I'm taking leave in December to head up to Indiana for muzzleloader season (Whitetail). Squirrel and coyote are also in season. Might have to bust a few problem coyotes on my uncle and dads property. Looking at some CVAs, I like their muzzleloaders.
