the lens was a pain...untill i remembered the oven trick! baked at 200 for 15 mins and it peeled open with a little help from a putty knife! i did the bottom and the sides leaving the top on like a hinge... worked good! my lens had a few hairline cracks in it before i started so it was a little easier cause i wasnt worried about cracking it more. the lens is suprisingly thin though...

a closer look...hard to get a good pic. its shines and the lens glares... not a good combo for a pic! oh well .....

eric, look what i wrote about the backlighting in your E.L post...might wanna try some painting there too?
