Default Well fellars

Got the truck running again, battery was bone dead... Idk why, buuuuuuuuut on a brighter note, I got my Cortex programmer running...

Set it to 91 Performance tune, and I went out and TRIED to find bare roads to test my 0 - 60, and well I found a sort of bare road, so I put er in 4WD and nailed it, shifted from 1-2 at 6k rpms and from 2-3 at idk what rpms but 58mph, and in 3rd gear I was flyyyyyyyin... I recalibrated my speedo for the slightly larger tires and I ended up pulling off a ... ... ... ... ... 7.6 0 - 60...

I think that's rather impressive...

Not bad...what are all of the available values that can be adjusted with your programmer?

Nice, that's quick, especially considering that the 6 speed isn't a quick shifter. Is the Cortex strictly for the 4.7L?

Also, 58MPH in 2nd, sounds like you have 3.21's?

Cortex is brand specific, they make three different ones, Chevy, Dodge, Ford

And the 6spd is fast enough, if you have the ambition...

**Sigh** still no love for the 3.7. $430 is too rich for my blood anyway...On a side note, the numbers the Cortex puts up on a 6.7 Cummins are obscene.

And yes, the 6 speed can be quick, but I try to not punish my synchros too often

Long as your rev-matching pretty close the synchros are doing very little to no work

Can't rev-match on upshifts, especially if you're gettin' after it. At least on '07's, the electronic throttle control holds the RPM up when the clutch is in; the engine will hang for over a second before it starts to drop (yes my foot is off the gas). It takes some getting used to.

Downshifts, for sure. I double-clutch whenever I have the time.
