My HO only has 8 plugs. I thout they called for 93 Octain.
I was going to buy a new Dakota w/v6 but after having one w/v8 and no mpg loss, I think it was a no brainer. Now if I could just keep my foot out of it. HAHA that will never happen....

My '06 HO only has 8 plugs. I thought the change to 16 came in '08. I could be wrong.

Even in the HO 93 is recommended, but not required. Per the owners manual. For HP and mileage sake, use 93..91 whatever.

I have the HO & it makes no difference weather I run 89 or 91 at to mileage! Only way my mileage can improve is to drive like an old lady!

Holy cow, what is the deal with all the old threads comming back? LOL, manifactures recommend higher octane levels for certain engines. Dodge says to get the most out of your 4.7L HO, use 91 octane.
