Default High Output?

2007 Dakota with the 4.7 V8. How do I tell if it's the "high output" or not? Is there a code in the VIN number that'll tell me?
Thanks

I believe the 8th digit in the vin will be a J if it's an H.O., an N if it's standard.

Another way to know is bad the V8 badge on the back of the tailgate. If it's the high output it looks like this.

The badge just says Magnum on the back. I'm gonna check the VIN tomorrow, can anyone second what Mikset said about the VIN code?

I can 2nd the VIN too, cuz when I've looked at certain websites for parts and accesories, it will bring up an extra N or J for me to describe my truck.

If yours only says V8 Magnum though, your should only have the regular 4.7 V8. Don't be afraid to double check the VIN because there badge could of changed from the 2005 to 2007.

Don't know if they do it with the Daks, but my Grand Cherokee Overland says "High Output" on the plastic cover over the throttle body, great big letters...

I put a cold air intake on the truck very shortly after my dad got it. So I can't check the plastic cover on the throttle body.
