Muffler selection help
I will be getting a new exhaust this spring. On my '07 I only have the the large muffler and the rear resonator. There is no front res. So, my concern is back pressure. Since there is no front res, will there be a enough back pressure with one SiSo or SiDo set-up? Some input would be appreciated. thanks!

Theres a thread on here where I talk about the differences between single and duals, change of your torque curve and back pressure...
After having a Flowmaster Series 50 SI/DO with the tailpipes exiting under the back bumper for 2 years and not liking the resonance in the cab, I switched to a Flowmaster SUV with the tailpipe exiting in the stock position. The resonance is gone, it's quieter but no change in power. I used stock-sized tubing for both systems and an after-market resonator in front of the Flowmasters.
You are right, they basically cancel sound, by causing it to bounce into the other sound waves, thus quieting it down...
thanks for the input. I will more than likely just do a SiSo set up with a Cherry Bomb exiting out the stock location. Or just do what I did on my '06, which was just to replace the big-*** muffler with a Cherry Bomb. I would rather keep the stainless pipes. We'll see how finances are.
