Default New additions to the truck

Well, I'm finally gonna spend some money on her! I'm sick of the caddy style suspension, so I'll be throwing the Rancho's on pretty soon. I'm going to slap in a CAI on as well. One question I have though, can I put a TB spacer AND CAI? Will there be enough room in the engine bay? Maybe someone who has both can chime in and let me know.

I've already got a bull bar and some better LT tires on now, but the hunger is kicking in!! I will post pictures when I have the shocks and CAI installed.

forget the tb spacer, paper weight. the cai is a nice improvement over stock. also a larger throttle body does great on the 4.7, check out www.thefastman.com

+1 to that. TB spacers are useless in our trucks, if not all trucks. definitely go with a CAI and a fastman TB or even F&B TB are pretty nice.

Well, I ordered a CAI and the power wire. I should be getting them in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait!!

The power wire claims an extra 8-10WHP. Is that true? You guys that have a power wire, have you experienced a significant power gain? MPG gain?

They are crazy about the power wire gains but it does advance the timing a tad, fakes out the computer into thinking its getting colder air than it actually is. You'll notice a little more peppiness, but thats it... Cool though! Hopefully you only spent no more than a few bucks on it

Yeah, I kind of figured that claim was a little stretched!
