Default Superchips and Transgo, resistor or no?

Anyone out there with a 3815 and Transgo shiftkit in there 545RFE? Do you have the resistor in or out?
Did you notice a difference?

I have mine in, wondering if I should remove it.

I feel no difference with the 3815, even though they claim they reduce torque management for firmer shifts, the resistor increases line pressure for firmer shifts.

Thanks,
LB

I feel an engine difference with the 91 (runs very nice), but not the trans. u guys notice any trans shift improvments (ie firmness, shift points, etc)?

I noticed a difference...shifts are alot smoother and alot of that lag between the push of the accelerator and actually going is close to gone

i romoved the resistor after a call to transgo... they said there would be a "conflict" having both together.. the tuner boosts line pressure some but they are going to add other updates for thranny stuff and both would be bad news if you keep the resistor, so i figured better be safe than blown up!!!!

What was the difference in shifting firmness? Everthing I have read (including the flashpac forum says the flashpac does not up line pressure (other tuners do though), just reduces torque management, but I suppose I better yank it because they are always updating (thank goodness).

Thanks,
