Default VHT Nite Shades on chrome ?

First I would like to say HI! To everyone, I may be new to you but I have been reading all your great advice and checking out your awesome ideas for a couple of weeks. Thank You. Well enough of that, My question is has anyone tried to use VHT Nite Shades on their chrome grill or on chrome emblems? If so does it give you a black chrome look? You guys rock, Thanks!!!

Welcome to the FORUM!! I dont know of anyone doing that on our grille but it seems like it would give you that look or almost a gun metal look beings that when you use it on tailights it still makes them have a tint of red. Great idea though. Hopefully someone will chime in on there experience and or opinion.

the night shades is a natural purple color, the only reason it shows up "black" on tail lights, is cuz it has a red color for the tail lights already... and adding an extremely dark purple to red, makes black...

Dark purple on chrome = dark purple

Trust me, in the summer, I go through about 80 cans of different spray paints...

Everyone up here that I know comes to me to spray paint stuff for them...

I've VHT'd almost anything you can think of...

What turns out fawking awesome, is Dupli-color Metalcast on chrome, it basically makes it look as if it were anodized...

I did it to the back of one of my iPods, and the logos and everything was still visible, but had an extremely siiiiiiiiick blue color to it...

Just red and blue and gold...
