Default Something about my truck

Before I start, I know about 99% of you guys hate me, and how i've been saying these trucks are POS's and whatnot. And most of you know, i've been having nothing but problems. Before you say anything, I have found out what the problem is, and that is the Dealership that I bought it from. Everytime I took it into get fixed, they would say nothing is wrong.

So about a month ago, I called a dealership out of town, as the place here kept on refusing to work on my truck. I also work with someone, and they have had the same problem. They also took their vehicle out of town. And ever since doing that, they have never had a problem. So my guess is the mechs at our dealership have no idea what the hell they are doing.

But anyways, I took my truck out of town to get fixed. They told me they will call me when they have find anything.

I would have stayed there but I had to work. They said it will probably be a month before it's done. It took them about week and half to finish. They found so many problems with it.

1st problem was, it was misfiring a bat out of hell.

2nd problem was, I don't know how this is possible but the whole thing was carboned right up.

3rd problem was, they told me 2 knock sensors were malfunctioning.

4th problem was, all my gear ratio's were inaccurate. I have no idea how that happened.

5th problem was, they had to redo my ECU....

6th problem was, my air-fuel ratio was all screwed up, hence why it was burning fuel like a mad man

7th problem was my o2 sensor

They also replaced all my filters and fluids.

After doing this, it works a lot better then when I 1st got it.

So, I want to apologize for what I have said in previous posts. As I was blaming a truck that wasn't wasn't working probably, when the dealership refused to fix it.

great you got it sorted out, sucks what youhad to go through to do it. Me personally, i would make sure chrysler knows about that crappy dealership. now a days, a bad review or reviews and good reviews could mean the difference of being closed or not!

oh and i'll probably hate myself for asking, What do you think of the truck now?

I think he means that the ratios in his gear box weren't standard, so some gears were longer or shorter than they should be...

Glad you got it sorted out that's one hell of a list (gear ratios especially). Hopefully your first dealer will be one of the ones to close, from the sound of it they're hurting Chrysler far more than they are helping them...

Don't feel bad about venting, been there done that.
I had a major POS 06 that resulted in a Lemmon Law buy-back.
It was a gut horrible situation so I know what it’s like paying each month for a POS.
I now have a 07 that is far better and so far at 34k has had only a flew minor problems that the dealer fixed and to their credit have been very professional and honest. Hope things smooth out with you with your Dak and you get to enjoy it, as you should.

TheGreatMonkey - Have you considered making a report to the BBB ? The dealership may not be pressured by Chrysler to change anything if they are selling vehicles. The BBB will post your complaints.
