Yeah but I love her enough that I'd rather deal with that then let her slip through my fingers and leave me cuz I wouldn't commit...

Yeah, thats why I'd use the stock box and filter. Then route a bigger right angle tube from the front of the box, through the plastic where the stock intake draws. This will pull air from the area behind the headlight, above the washer fluid reservoir. I would use some black silicone to seal that area around the tube, unlike the foam the factory uses. This should completely separate the incoming air from the engine compartment. If you could then run a tube straight down and turn towards the front, you could have a ram air set-up. But like Eric said, I don't think there is enough room for that. A cone filter definitely won't fit.

ok, 2 sayings come to mind. (make that 3)
1) with women, there are 3 rings... Engagement, wedding and suffer (say the word RING after each word)

2) A marrage is a institution and all of us should be institutionalized

3) 100% of the worlds divorce's start with Marrage!

Hey, These are supposed to be funny (till my wife reads them) I love my wife and son and wouldn't change a thing about having them around!

Eric is the hood scoop fully functional??? or is it a bolt on I don't remember it at the M&G??

paul05dak, lol funny but I'll take the risk, my parents have a love-less relationship, but I'd do anything for my girl, including sell my dak if need be (but only if there were no other options)... there is one thing that I pride myself on, and that is doing w/e it takes to make her happy :-D

btw before the insults rain down on me...its not that puppy dog love at the beginning of a relationship, we've been dating almost 3.5 years, not ALOT, but definitely out of that new relationship period...

ok I will let out a small part of my next mod.

I am using a True Flow filter and tube right now. It uses the stock airbox. I have the tube loosely wrapped with a heat insulating barrier made for just this reason. My IAT's are only a few degrees above outside air temp. Maybe 5 more, tops, in the summer. This is great in my book, after I had the "chrome tube" and open K&N with sky high IAT's.

What I am doing next, well part of it involves a NACA duct, a real one, not a knock off from ebay, and the top of my passenger side fender.

That is all I will say....even though I about said it all anyway. lol

Yeah NJJer, nothing small about what you let out NACA scoops are cool. Your truck will look like a Ferrari F40, or possibly an F-14.
