Haha, well then get a stock one off an 08 motor, then...

That way they can't claim it to be aftermarket part...

It'd be a stock replacement...

Also, I never said they didn't have UD pulleys...

I'm just saying that's not the ONLY thing that added up to the power difference.

Alright we don't need to be taking shots at each other here, the thread is about Badass's engine let's just stick to that.

Edit: n/m Eric already confirmed the damper is part of it, you guys are posting fast today sheesh.

Frenchy was right, playing the part of the Dodge shop...if it's not bone stock, goooood luck. That doesn't mean their claim isn't bogus, but rather that now you get to enjoy defending and fighting to get the work done.

I guess the best thing would have been to have a shop tow your truck home, swap out every aftermarket part with stock, and then claim it died in your driveway...

Take the 3.7L swap! That mother is bullet proof

joe, heres the deal. if the dealership that you went to logged into the books that the truck showed up with an aftermarket pulley, then sorry bud. i did some research. went to a few other dodge sites and quoted one phrase of a blown engine, these pulleys are not harmonically balanced to the engine vibration and crankshaft, leaning toward internal destruction.
