ok so i talked to the dealer this afternoon.. they told me #4 piston is not holding compression... so it could be either the heads or a bent valve... dealer needed the ok for the funds of mine.. blah blah.. so now Does anyone know where to get a nice set of race ported heads if i cant get them from airram? if indeed it is the heads....

Hole in the piston??? It can't be that hard to fit a hemi in there. Just rape an accident victim of its motor and electronics. Or find an 08-09 and upgrade your 4.7. Either way, you're f-ed. You have...sorry, had an HO right? Sell the old HO to somene that needs a build motor. The way the bottom-end is built on them, they should respond well to head work and a blower. I'm really sorry.

i wanted you to check out another site. it is run by certain people with great knowlege of the 4.7, they are stroking a 4.7 motor. when it is finished, the final output will be a 5.5 litre i sent you a link to the thread and site

well today i said fix it.. its gonna cost a pretty penny to get fixed... i tried to get the heads ported and polished but the dealer didnt want to have anything to do with that... so next year ill have it done...
so to all that have a 4.7 and were thinking about doing a pully make sure u buy either
A. smaller crank bolt
B. add some washers on the crank bolt
if any of this was done there would have never been an issue with my truck
That is all-

Has ASP told you if they're going to cover any of it yet?
