you could do it that way.. thats the right way to do it.. but i just used some tape and crimps and that i think is the easiest.. those dam plastic things just are a waste of time...

isnt crimps the harder way to do it because you have to strip wire and stuff.

crimps are the quickest/easiest way to do it, but not by far the correct way,


the correct way is to strip then flux, then solder the wires together, then put shrink wrap over them to keep it from corroding/shorting to ground (i use liquid electrical tape instead of heat shrink, which works best)

Those t taps tend to loosen up and/or wear through the wire over time, it's generally better to crimp or solder.

idk i have never had an issue w/ the liquid electrical tape, i usually shrink wrap if its in a tight space, but i find the liquid tape actually works alot better if you have room to get a GOOD coat on the wire, JMO

EDIT: the liquid electrical tape is also cheaper
