Stock Exhaust
I am trying to replace my Gibson exhaust with a stock one. I am trying to order the parts from www.dodgeparts.com, but am having trouble with the technical names in finding what all I need to order to have a complete system again. I would appreciate if any of you guys can help me out with a list of the parts I need to completely replace my current exhaust with a stock one. I have the 2005 3.7L. Thanks for your help guys in advance.
Well, for two reasons actually, my Gibson is starting to become degraded to the point where I would have to replace it in the next 6 months, and I am going to have to re-register my truck through the military in Germany, and I doubt the inspector is going to give me another by for the noise level again, so I am just going to re-install the stock one.

Do you have an exhaust shop around you? it wont be "stock" but they should have oem equivalent mufflers. and thats really what kills the sound.
Stock, our trucks had 2 resonators and a HUGE muffler. I would imagine thats all the gibson system replaces...

white26golf, (not to hijack your thread) your the guy running the two leveling kits for a total of 4" lift? I know someone on this forum is, and I THOUGHT it was you. If it is you, how is everything holding up, ball joints, etc?
Do you still have that picture of both kits installed at once? The forum no longer shows the pic.
Thanks!
Maybe you can pull the stock exhaust from a junkyard nearby?

Well, as far as junkyards and muffler shops are concerned, trucks and muffler shops aren't really readily available here in Germany. And yes I am the guy that combined both kits, I also went with a 2" block in the rear instead of the 1.5 that came with the RC kit. I will see if I still have the pic on my PC and get it on here, or take a new one. But I just installed them the way the individual instructions said. I haven't had any issues with the suspension to date though. Oh, and I don't think it came out to 4" really, but it did raise it well over 2.5"s.
