It's normally $130 bucks plus shipping.

The #1 reason why I like Daystar over others is because if you have any problem with the lift kit, or if say one gets damaged somehow, they will send you a replacement no questions asked. Probablly come in handy some day. The lifetime warranty is not limited to the first vehicle owner that installed them either.

So even if you find another kit cheaper, keep that in mind.

 

This one doesn't specify as to automatic/manual. The others all did. Does that even make a difference?

If the plastic thing is no big deal, you might check out fleabay. I paid a lot less than that for my metal one....which would be near impossible to destroy.

 

Do you remember the vendors name or product name by any chance?

 

I have experience with one company on ebay, "AutoSpring" They make a a good steel kit, a buddy of mine put one on his F-150. I think there like $70 new too. They make a 2" for 4x4 or 4x2 models, and a 2.5" for 4x2 models.

 

Just got done scoping em out. They seem pretty legit with full warranty and return policies. Hmm...

Oops! Sorry, I see you've been there. Anyway, no cause for any concern if your experience with him goes anything like mine did. Perfect fit, shipped right away, raised front 2" as advertised.

 

Did you do the work yourself? If so, was it difficult or time consuming?
