Default 2006 Dakota R/T???

This thread is kinda of pointless, but does anyone know how many Dakota's were made in 2006 with the R/T package on them?

In 15 years will this trucks be worth anything??? Reason why I ask is because I've found one online for what I think is a good deal....just wondering about some info on it.

I'm gonna go ahead and say no...the 3rd generation R/T's were about decals and packaging. Nothing like the old R/Ts.

u make it sound so bad... the package was not only about the decals.. it was about the motor which yes u could get in other models but was a hard find.. to be honest these trucks prob dont have production numbers but yes i think some day down the road it will be worth something like the little red wagons...

I would agree with BAdassR/T. I think if the R/T owners keep them up to snuff either stock or with upgrades and mods, they will be something worth holding on to.

Well a vehicle as investment is a pretty bad idea, but an R/T will be worth alot more than my ST in 15 years.

I don't think any Dakota will ever be worth more than is invested in it, unless some celebrity owns/drives it. I believe I have the rarest late model Dakota made. Quad cab SLT with V8, stick, and factory leather. Any body else have one?

A 4x4 H.O. with a 6 speed swap and a chopped regular cab and 8 foot bed would be worth something...and be farking sweet.

not to say the dakota is worth a **** but vehicles in general yes some are an investment take a hemi cuda for example, some of these go for 100 and 100s of thousands some even millions.. now will the R/T dakota ever be that no and yes it may be rare and everything but i just dont think it will ever be worth a ton just something.. ya never know what u might see on the Barrett Jackson auto auction.. !
