Is there anything I should be looking for, in preparation for this install?
To be honest, I am not totally sure where they even go yet... (they havent shown up at my door yet...)
Has anyone ran into any issues while doing the install?

On My 2008 Sport 4.7 - I.m running the Belltech 6400. They attach to the rear of the leaf spring the to the frame cradle. I also installed a spring clam on the from of the overload, clamping the spring down t the overload and it really helped the traction. Truck sits level now and looks great.
I didn't have any problems when I installed mine. I used a good pair of jack stands and a floor jack. I raised the truck until both wheels were off the ground and supported it under the frame with the jack stands. Used the floor jack to raise and lower the rear end one side at a time. I installed mine at the shop where I work so I got to use a forklift to raise the truck off the ground under the hitch bar. It's pretty self explanatory once you start on it and I think the instructions were pretty good. Good luck.
just make sure you have the correct ones for each side. lay the 2 next to each other. they should have a slight bow away from each other. thats how they install from looking at the back of the truck. also you may need to get new bolts. the road grime may have welded the nuts on, also i had to use a 55 mm torx for my upper bolts
