Default Superchips Cortex 3950 for a '07 4.7 HO - works!

I have been speaking with Superchips techs consistently over the past couple of weeks - it is boating season and I bought my tuner to improve my towing! Well - they delivered late last week! I went away for the holiday weekend (without the Truck) - so I didn't get a chance to tow or play, however I did put in the base (low octane) tune and it does seem much more responsive. I will play and post more later. Bottom line - Superchips feels confident that they now have the 2006 & 7 Dak 4.7 HO's covered, but would like an 05. I pasted the relevant portion of the email exchanged below - complete with contact data. If anyone lives in the Orlando Florida area or is taking the kids to Disney for a week and wants to loan their truck for a rental and a programmer.

More data later when I get a chance to play.

Superchips is looking for 1-2 2005 4.7 HO trucks for testing (think I am going to need one for a week, by the way we get them a rental while we have their trucks) and giving out free Flashpaq, that goes over better.

I filled out their form on the website to drive down there (twice) and borrow mine but no responses. Though, I may have haggled in there giving me a room to sleep in....

I believe it said 91+ octane tune. Since I have a full tank of 87 octane - I figured I would try out the other tuning options first. Has anyone actually noticed a difference between running lower & higher octane fuel - with standard tuning? I Haven't...

By standard I am guessing you mean stock tune, and no I havent noticed any mileage difference, just a tad more peppy. They only recommend 87 in the reg 4.7 with the stock tune anyways.
