Yeah man, that has been the debate. I'm going to do it anyway and see how it works out. I will try the drag slicks with the 3.55 gears but I think I will like the 4.10s better.

LOL.................no

DJwolf has 4.10 gears and his truck rides and accelerates pretty awesome. I'm thinking I will go tranny valve body, 2700-3000 stall converter and 4.10 gears.

4:10's work out the best as far as RPM range (at least on paper). Especially for the cool kids with the 6 speed, since our overdrive is higher revving than the automatics. Every day I get more and more tired of my stupid tall 3.21's.

Once that Doetsch lift comes out and everyone is running 35" MT's, 4.56 will be the standard

Yeah much above 65 MPH with 4.56 gears and the 6 speed, and you're creeping on 3,000 RPM. It's pretty close to driving on the highway in 4th, or going fast in 5th with stock gearing. Just gets a little tiresome with a loud exhaust, and will start burning some more fuel. The engine loves it all the same.

Plus with 4.XX anything gears, 1st gear will make burnouts oh so easy
