i went with the master install kit also, dont go the cheap way, all new is the only way to go

Superdak, when you first installed your gears did you notice the tires spin 10 times easier on wet pavement? I can just put a little throttle down and spin like mad, lol. Its rained all weekend and I have been doing alot of accidental drifting.

Welcome to what those of us with open diff rear ends have to go through stock. Wet road = useless gas pedal, lol.

I've got it down now, but at first it took me by surprise. I've got my engine creating enormous HP, now I've got to be more efficent about getting it to the wheels.

i had to learn how to drive all over again, most of the time in the begining, i drove around in 4 hi, until i got use to it. and even now i drive in 4 hi when it rains out, better traction on the highway

its nice with a little wet on the road in 4 hi, mash the gas and the truck just lurks all over the place,
