my blinkers have gone wacky

Default my blinkers have gone wacky

please help, when i push down the stick to turn the left blinker on the right one will blink. the right works fine. and some time the left will go left right left right. its crazy. sometimes it works fine where do i look first?

prob. something in the switch itself is messing up, heard a few people Have had problems like this,

When your indicater appears to be whacking out on you, have you walked around the truck to see what the rest of the lights are actually doing?

My bet is a bad ground in the left front or rear, or maybe a pinched (trailer?) harness. I've seen badly corroded 7 wire (round) trailer harness connectors cause some pretty wild problems as well.

I can't help you. But used to have the same problem and then it went away on it's own after about two weeks.

If it blinks really fast you might need a new switch.

I think ahicks is on the right track. Sounds like a bad ground somewhere. I hate wiring problems because you don't know where to start looking.

They are awesome. I used mine while installing the alcohol injection about every 10 minutes to esure all of my connections and relays were good to go.
