Default Got my lights done!

Well after the fender-bender, I decided to treat myself yesterday and bought a set of lights and installed them today. They are Pilot Navigator Fog Lights. I went with these over the driving light out of preference. They are power right to the battery so they can be used anytime with or without the headlight or stock fogs.

All the lights on

Fogs, Runners and Navigators

Runners and Navigators

Just Navigators

The install

Switch location
> switch off

> switch on

I went with tis switch location because I didn't want to deal with taking the dash apart, plus it was an unused space to begin with.

As an aside, If you are wondering what the silver thing next to the 4x4 **** is, it is a mezuzah (a J-e-w-i-s-h ornament that contains a prayer, "Shema Yisrael"). We are J-e-w-i-s-h, so everyone of our vehicles has one. (Not sure why, but when you spell out J-e-w-i-s-h without the dashes, this site *'s the word out, i.e. ***ish...I'm not liking that much!!!).

Looks good, that is the same spot I put the switch for the alky injection. Good spot, just dead space.

Ghost, J-e-w-i-s-h, is not edited, but the shortened version is. In the past, we have had an issue with racial slurs by some members, and while many of those members are long gone, I try to keep all terms that are commonly used as racial slurs filtered to avoid anyone using them against others, or even using them at all. We want to make it friendly to everyone here, so I block things that are being used as racial slurs...and in this case, j-e-w had been used as a slur and someone complained.

I like it. Good idea on the switch location. It's hard to find anywhere on our trucks for switches that looks good and is still accessable(sp).

Truck looks like it was never touched. Happy truck is a good truck Lights looks good. I looked up the Pilot Nav. lights and I like what I see. Question, even though I know this may have been qualified in past threads. Are there any replacement fog/driving lights that will mount up in place of factory fog lights? Has anyone tried larger wattage then 55w in after market units without heat damage or other problems? I had gone through three sets of factor fogs under warranty and need new again but warranty over.
