I don't know if the Daks are like the Rams, but there are so many subtle little differences in the PCMs in Rams even from the same year it gives programmers and calibration teams fits. I was talking with guys from KRC and they said it's like they take any old PCM off the shelf and just stick 'em in, different model numbers and even manufacturers within certain years...

Ok so does anyone have the 3865 superchip installed on an 06 ho and did it make noticable improvements in power & mileage? I have a gibson exhaust & a cold air intake on the truck & I really didn't notice much gain from either of these purchases. Will it be worth it to throw more money at it for the programmer?

Default 06 Dak H.O.

Hey I spotted an old thread you had about an 06 H.O. I just bought one and its making me nuts. I need more power! The thing just flat lines around 2000 rpm up around 4500 then takes off again. Do you think the SC would help? Any info would help me. Thanks

does anyone know if the fuel pressure should drop on a 06' Dak 4.7 H.O. after like three W.O.T. hits? I lose like twenty psi.

Bump

I'm performing a resurrection on this thread. Anyone have any updated info on using a tuner with the HO motor?

I haven't heard of any updates to this thread or the tuner itself.

Well I've had mine for awhile but u can't say I'm too impressed. Maybe if they'd have tested it on an HO it'd be different. They haven't had anyone go in for testing so IMO its their guess at a good tune. 93 tune is great full throttle but around town it sucks. The tranny shifts seem off and to early at part throttle. I don't have the tranny tune ability so maybe that'd make it better. I use the mileage tune as its the best performance all around but actually sucks for economy. I told SC that but they wont do anything wo seeing it....
