4.7 H.O. Superchips Tuner
Are there any High Output owners that have successfully installed the SC tuner yet? I've been trying to see if SC will pay my way to have them test on my truck but he said he was looking for 05 specifically. The guy told me that the engineer felt confident enough to go ahead and release the update for the H.O. but b/c dodge has a lot of different ecu id's that the tuner may not recognize the factory tune.
I was told to go ahead and try the update and call him back if it doesn't work. So once I get the tuner back from my brother I'll try again.

I tried to install it on my '02 Grand Cherokee Overland in April. Emailed specifically and asked if the HO in my '02 was supported. The guy that answered me said it was, but didn't really appear that he knew the difference between a standard 4.7 and an H.O.
So, I returned my truck to stock to try it on the Jeep, and it said I did NOT have a stock tune. Gave up on it and re-tuned the truck.
I've not tried since, but would like to know how you make out.
I've got a custom grind on a KRC 210 cam sitting in my garage for my Hemi truck, waiting for the cash to do a custom tune it needs on either a Diablo or SCT. I'd love to be able to "hand me down" the SC to the Jeep...

I know someone who is selling an SCT 9550 from his Ram for $200.00, let me know if you are interested.
My tuner wouldn't update. The update program kept complaining about firewalls. I turned every one I could think of and it still wouldn't take. So I sent the tuner to SC on Friday and it should have got there yesterday. They're gonna check the tuner out and update it for me. So once I get it back I'll try again.
Bolt so far as I know, no one has confirmed that it does work on H.O.'s. SC just released the software and said that it does. They haven't even tested it on one either...guy said they're confident enough in it that they're sure it'll work.

Hell, SCT can't even get tire size calibrations on the '04 Hemi Rams. Neither Marty at KRC nor Hemifever will touch it.
Diablo is close, has all the features but the tranny support. But have promising it "any day" for months now.
Basically I'm waiting for the first one to offer all the features I already have plus custom tuning and then I'll finish...
I just got my tuner back!!! Programmed the truck and it works. It's a noticeable improvement in acceleration. I think the biggest improvement to the truck is passing, the 45 to 60. First, programmer I've ever owned and I kinda expected more from it. The stock H.O. tune I think was fairly decent in comparison. I didn't change the WOT shift points yet. I was hoping to use the Data Logging and track the ideal shift points but SC didn't upload that on there for me. Ever since I put the Efan on the belt squeals on hard take offs. Now it's more often and did it through 2-3rd shifts too.
I noticed some other goodies I haven't heard any talk about. Mine has an Axle Ratio, Idle Setpoint, and Spark Advance. They also put the Mileage XS on it too; so now I have 4 tuning options. I think I'll leave the idle alone. The Spark Advance though apparently doesn't work with our Ign system but it's cool to have it loaded.
I've only driven the truck for about 5min and around the block. So I'm sure I'll grow to appreciate it more. Plus, I can't punch without loosing traction but with no weight that'll always be a problem.
