if you are going for power 91 tune will net you better results than the towing tune...

I would love to use the Performance 91 tune, however gas is over $3.00 here so premium is around $3.30. So when I get it, it will be the 87 tune.

Towing tune on mine says minimum of 87 octane. It's funny though, with the larger tires the towing tune seems to work better than the 87 octane tune.

I'm still feeling it out. I"ve been in tow tune for a few days now.. maybe 100 miles or so. To me it feels more like a truck. I like how it stays in gear longer. With the stock tune i really hate the gear hunting...

I'm going to give the peformance mode a try again in the next few hundred miles to compare the differences...

Somebody with an SC correct me if I'm wrong here but my understanding was that the 87 tune is optimized more for mileage?

On the 3865, there is a towing, an 87 octane, a mileage XS, and the 91 performance tune. I think the 87 tune is there for maximum performance on 87 octane. Someone please correct me if I am wrong??
